“Retreat can be a benevolent rest that takes you outside of your daily routine and identity... a time to become centered and quiet, and be inspired, refreshed, and renewed.”
-Jack Kornfield-
“Mindfulness meditation doesn’t change life. Life remains as fragile and unpredictable as ever. Meditation changes the heart’s capacity to accept life as it is.”

Rest time
at The Land known as Buckhorn Springs
with Ann and Clark Zimmerman, MAcOM, Mindfulness Meditation teachers.
Retreat time is a gift we can give ourselves to rest, digest, and integrate our busy lives.
A time to create space to listen, subtract stimuli, breathe deeper, and be supported in a kind community.
This retreat will include meditation (sitting and walking), mindful movement (yoga-qigong-dance), Dharma talks, group acupuncture, and plenty of rest time.
You will be asked to give up you phones/technology on Thursday night and to unplug from the world until Sunday. We will be in noble silence all day on Friday and Saturday to help us deepen into our practices.
